Data Science  &  Data Engineering
The term "data science" generally refers to the extraction of know-how from data pools. From the perspective of the business enterprise, this concerns the added value which can be derived from an all-encompassing analysis of available company data. Ideally, all data assets of the enterprise should be utilized for knowledge discovery, e.g. machine data on the shopfloor, in order to optimize predictions and forecasting. To accomplish this, all sources of data need to be identified; the data is subsequently channeled into a data lake for analysis.

The term "data engineering" is understood to mean the drawing-up of the technical infrastructure required for data science (data ingestion, data lake etc.). To achieve this, we provide the blueprint of the enterprise-specific architecture required, which also ensures compliance (e.g. the consistent, uninterrupted application of fully managed services within the cloud-environment).

We will support you by taking up an inventory, as well as with defining and implementing your big data strategy, while carefully considering quick wins to make sure you gain added value from the outset.

Agile Software Development
We will support you with the setup and implementation of greenfield- and migration-projects. The associated planning and realization is based on agile concepts. We will support you in defining your own agile processes based on the Scrum framework, as well as with the introduction of technical processes, such as Continuous Integration, in order to fully utilize the potential of an agile software development. We will, of course, also support you with the actual project management – i.e. beginning with the requirements engineering, continuing with the development processes, and following through with quality management and delivery, all this by applying the appropriate project-specific DevOps-methods.

CI  &  Testmanagement
The quality of development processes is particularly influenced by aspects such as automated builds, test coverage, and deployments. An agile approach, for example, is hardly imaginable without Continuous Integration, since the quick feedback from the CI-process is an essential prerequisite for this method. Furthermore, a high degree of test coverage for automated testings is key, since refactorings without a safeguard for the reduction of technical liabilities via automated tests are hardly conceivable.

We will support you with the drawing-up and the carrying-out of the processes and measures required in this respect, both for on-premises- and cloud-environments.
